As an important part of Mt. Siguniang, Haizi Valley stretches for a total length of 19.2km and covers an area of 126.48km2. Located in Rilong Town, views of this valley are distinctive from those of Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley. The first half is mainly alpine meadow, making it the best place for tourists to appreciate Mt. Siguniang and for amateur photographers to take pictures of this gorgeous mount. The second half is a long stretch of alpine lakes, which may take visitors a whole day for sightseeing. Currently, 12 sightseeing points and 46 scenic spots have been initially explored. The valley is dotted with more than a dozen alpine lakes, such as Flower Lake, Floating Lake and Blue Lake. Water flows through Wori River into pellucid, deep and quiet Dadu River in Dunbar, reflecting the green mountains and blue sky. Many ancient precious scaleless fish are retained here and become the living fossils for people to comprehend this land. Haizi Valley is also a good place to camp and the only path to get to each peak. Departing from here, climbers can reach No.1 Camp and the Base Camp from Haizi Valley by walking or riding a horse, then head to the large peak, the second peak, the third peak and the main peak. With the longing for this mysterious place and after hours or even days of trekking, one will eventually reach the lakes with the mountains behind themselves. Then you can enjoy the beauty of the scenery, watch the alpine ducks flying over the water, listen to the birds chirping in the mountains, and soak yourself in meditation and excitement.
