Crossing and Camping
Camping is a short-time outdoor lifestyle, and outdoor living area is temporarily set up for engineering, military, surveying and mapping, tourism, including camp, hut, garage and other simple forms of short-time outdoor living camps. Military camps tend to be complicatedly structured, subdivided into living quarters, accommodation, communication, command area, etc., and more convenient and compact equipment is applied to have better outdoor rest and entertainment.
Camping Equipment
Tent: A two-layer tent with stable structure, light weight, wind resistance, rain resistance is preferred
Sleeping bags: Down or goose down bags are light and warm, but they must be kept dry. Artificial vacuum bags may be a better choice in humid weather
Knapsack: The frame of the knapsack shall conform to your body structure and have a comfortable carrying system (such as shoulder straps, belts and back supports)
Fire sources: lighters, matches, candles and magnifying glasses, of which candle can be used as illuminant and combustion improver
Illuminating equipment: camping lamps (electric and gas camping lamps), headlamps, flashlights
Picnic utensils: kettle, multi-functional picnic pan, sharp multi-functional knife (Leatherman, Swiss Army Knife), and tableware
Special tools: compass, map, rope, folding spade, needle and thread, fishing line, machete, camera
Water and food: high-calorie meat, sugar, fat, salt
Rescue box: antidotes, cold medicine, diarrhea medicine, Yunnan Baiyao, analgesics, gauze, adhesive tape, bandages.
Location Selection
Appropriate site shall be selected to set up tents.
Notes:
Camping out in the wild
Do not camp too close to the mountains and hills to prevent falling rocks and floods in rainy days.
Do not camp to close to the river in case the tide overflows the tent.
Do not camp under big trees on rainy days to avoid being struck by lightning.
Before setting up camp, clear the rubble and sharp thorns on the ground to avoid puncturing the tent or sleeping uncomfortably.
Do not camp on the ramp.
The tent door shall face leeward.
