Mt. Siguniang is always known as a scenic place where one could "see views of four seasons within one day and visit at any time of the year", and each season presents tourists with distinctive views. Spring in May and June and autumn in September and October are nice time to travel when the weather in the scenic area is hot at noon and cool in the morning and at night. In summer, the average temperature is around 19℃, with large temperature difference between the day and night. The temperature in the icy areas is fairly low, with the average temperature in the valley area in winter below 2℃ when the mountains are covered by thick snow, which requires tourists' special attention to driving. The holidays of Dragon Boat Festival, May Day and National Holidays are the peak tourist seasons, amongst which Dragon Boat Festival holiday attracts the most visitors. At noon in May or October, visitors only need to wear a long-sleeved shirt. July and August are the best seasons for tourists to come when flowers bloom luxuriantly, and visitors can step down into the valley to feel the coolness of water melt from the mountain snow. Views from the mid October to mid November are just like intoxicating liquor, allowing you to take the most enchanting pictures that you might cherish for a lifetime.
